Singapore: On Wednesday, Huttons Group celebrated significant milestones of 2022 and announced several key initiatives for the community, company, and their associates’ future growth.

Huttons Gala Dinner was held on 11 January 2023 at The Island Ballroom at Shangri-la Singapore with Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, as the Guest-of-Honour.

The event brought together more than 1,000 Huttons associates, developers, and members of the real estate community. Huttons is pleased to have won several awards and is the fastest growing agency for the second year, crossing 4,870 salespersons as of 1 January 2023.

The first key initiative announced is the Huttons Sustainability Challenge. The challenge is set to advocate the culture of sustainability and involve the youths in supporting the Singapore Green Plan. Students from local Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and ITE Colleges are invited to submit their ideas for sustainability on TikTok before 31 March 2023. Cash prizes will be presented to the top 3 most innovative groups. Interested students can read more at innovation.huttonsgroup.com.

Mr Mark Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Huttons Group said, “Following the success of Huttons Innovation Challenge, we are excited to engage our future generation to participate in how our City in Nature will transform. Through this, more youths may unlock their creativity and be intrigued to contribute to the real estate industry. In August 2022, Huttons also pledged to raise up to $150,000 towards the Garden City Fund’s Plant-A-Tree programme in support of the OneMillionTrees movement under NParks. This further solidifies Huttons’ corporate social responsibility for the wider community.”

Second, Huttons will be launching Huttons Property Bites, Together On Property (TOP) Podcast, and Learn & Win with Huttons initiatives for consumers to learn meaningful insights across various market segments. “Through these initiatives, consumers will be empowered with the latest real estate trends through different forms; Huttons Property Bites will be a weekly Facebook Live session where consumers can ask their burning property questions, TOP Podcast will be available on Spotify while Learn & Win with Huttons will be on YouTube. Consumers will be able to make more informed property decisions through learning from thought leaders across various channels.” Mr Yip adds.

Ms Indranee said, “The Government will continue to work with stakeholders in our policies and programmes, and that will include key industry players such as Huttons. To that extent, I am happy that property agencies like Huttons are working with CEA in contributing to the Real Estate Industry Transformation Map 2025 also known as RE ITM 2025, in order to uplift the professionalism of property agents.

We appreciate Huttons and other industry players proactively taking efforts to strengthen consumer education and drive digital transformation on their own initiative. One interesting example is Huttons’ weekly news flashes on Facebook Live, where the Senior Director of Research, Mr Lee Sze Teck, shares his bite-sized information and meaningful insights to educate consumers and answer queries from members of the public. Let’s continue to forge meaningful partnerships and collaborate closely, to bring Singapore forward together.”

Internally, new training programmes will be launched to increase associates’ professionalism. The topics include important compliance and legal information, actionable techniques on leveraging the technology tools provided at Huttons and many more. Furthermore, Huttons launched the Start At Huttons Success Manual that will help new associates grow their real estate careers through lead generation, digital marketing and more.

Huttons will continue to embrace digital transformation by launching new features to further enhance associates’ productivity and efficiency over the next few months. A brand-new transaction system will be implemented to help streamline all process with digitalised forms, checks and documents submission. Comprehensive insights of business performance and reports will also be made available to all associates, enabling them to access vital data and strategically plan for future growth. In addition, the popular Huttons Analyzer app will be enhanced with more features for better trend analysis.

Mr Yip says, “Our corporate website will be revamped to enhance user experience, allowing consumers to easily search for their new dream home or investment property. Consumers are further empowered with easy navigation on the latest news, project launches, events, and market reports. We will keep the transformation and innovation going to ensure the latest technology and keep up with the ever-changing market.”

Finally, with the growing opportunities in the East side of Singapore, Mr Yip will be leading a new initiative; Huttons at East together with the corporate departments and, a team of 100 professional Huttons salespersons that possess strong experience transacting properties in that region. Huttons aim to garner more awareness and exposure through roadshows, social media advertising and other activities.

“We ended 2022 on a high note by achieving several milestones and being the fastest growing agency, Huttons will continue to give true value for our associates to better serve clients across Singapore and international markets. With our clear and forward-looking direction to reach 6,000 associates by end-2024, I am excited for what is in-store for us in the coming years.” Mr Yip concludes.
